I’m so blessed because I get to connect with and meet so many new and amazing people. Well, the Gingrich family feels like old friends to me. Like we’ve known each other for a long time. However, my time spent with them only gets better each time we’re together. Conversations have gotten longer. We know more about each other, so we connect on new levels. But my favorite part about photographing them over time, is that I get to watch their family change and grow in such a beautiful way.

I first met this sweet family when I took newborn pictures of Elon back in February. It’s amazing how confident and comfortable Kara and Addison have gotten as parents in the last six months. And watching them on this journey has filled my heart with so much love. The way they interact and play with Elon is seriously the easiest to photograph! It’s organic and real. Addison and Kara talk to Elon with such a playful and loving voice. And their laughter as a family is enough to melt me into a puddle!

Kara wanted to try a milk bath session, and it could not have gone any better. She wanted wild flowers and a rustic feel to it, so Musser Gap was the perfect location. They were more than willing to walk all over the place with me to find the perfect spots! Once we started the milk bath session, it was the most entertaining scene. Elon was like a little fish! So comfortable in the water. Although, splashing and making a mess was his favorite. I could have spent the entire session just watching him have fun in the water.

One of my favorite parts of a family session is getting pictures of just the parents. Well, Addison and Kara are the perfect models for that. They share such sweet romance, and it was evident in the way they held each other. I could hear them whispering back and forth, “I love you” as I walked around them. When Kara closed her eyes as Addison held her close, I felt every ounce of love that was shared between them. It was pure magic.

Kara and Addison, I adore your family and can’t thank you enough for reaching out to me again to photograph your perfect little family. I can’t wait to see you again!
