Excited in it’s truest sense. Adalynn is the angel’s name who came into this world surrounded by love. Taylor and Ken look at her with such loving eyes and hold her with such soft and tender arms. It’s a humble reminder to stop and enjoy every moment. And take in every second you get with your kids. The Coronavirus may have changed our plans from shooting in-studio to outside. But it didn’t take away my time from this sweet family! I fell in love as soon as I saw Adalynn. Seriously, she was the cutest. And so fashionable in her outfits! It was the perfect day.
Not only did Taylor and I bond as moms, but we connected through medicine. I used to work doing Ultrasounds, but Taylor is currently a Nurse. And I have to believe her patients leave better after meeting her than they did coming in. She has such a calming demeanor. Also a loving heart. She is complimented so well by Ken. He is gentle and so down-to-earth. Adalynn was content being alone for pictures, but when Ken held her, you could see her physically take a deep breath and just drift off into a cozy sleep. His arms is exactly where she wanted to be.
The scenery at the General Potter Farm provided perfect backdrops for this cute newborn session. Taylor was so excited for the outfits she had for Adalynn! And it is easy to see why. Adalynn’s lace body suit was absolute princess material. But the fact that every swaddle had a matching headband was the best! This session was not short on accessories. However, it was short on time! We spent time talking about life, jobs and how to get our kids to sleep! The two hours we spent together went too fast.
Taylor and Ken, I wish you both a lifetime of joy and restful nights! Adalynn is an absolute gem, and I’m so thankful I got to spend so much time with you three. You guys are amazing parents, and I’m so blessed to have gotten to photograph such precious memories for you. I hope to see you all again soon!
