The energy was immediate. As soon as they stepped out of their car, the kids were all giggles and smiles. Everyone looked like they just stepped out of an Old Navy Catalogue, dressed to impress! We spent an hour together at Circleville Park. And honestly, it was an amazing hour. Full of energy and laughter. Packed with love and excitement. This family is the epitome of enthusiasm. And it was exactly what I was hoping for.

The kids made my heart so full of joy!

And they were the best assistants I’ve ever had! They offered to carry the blanket and my camera bag. And they were all so interested in my camera! I knew that this wasn’t going to be the “quiet sit down” type of family session. And I was SO excited for that! Their smiles when they were running around their parents was heart-warming to say the least. When they were sitting as a family, all they wanted to do was play with their youngest sisters toes; I could have watched them play together for hours. Watching the kids run around and play, so blissfully unaware of the chaos going on in the world, it humbled me to be in their presence. Their energetic, loving and fun presence.

Nakieshia was excited when I said the kids could run and play because I wanted a few pictures of just her and Zachery. She mentioned how long it had been since her and Zachery had a picture of just themselves. Therefore, I was beyond thrilled to be able to spend time with just the two of them! I loved the way they watched their kids. Beaming with pride. And the way they looked at each other was the icing on the cake. It felt so natural and easy. Like they just looked at each other and truly admired the other one for who they so uniquely are. It was a special love to be in the presence of.
