Honestly, this is the best job. Being a photographer has blessed me with friendships that I wouldn’t have otherwise gotten. It has introduced me to families who have touched my heart in profound ways. And families who have grown to be great friends. But the best thing is that it has allowed me to watch families grow; grow in size, love and memories. I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting some amazing people. But this family is really near and dear to my heart

It started with new born pictures.

Then we met over the summer for family pictures, and now one trip around the sun later, we met again for first birthday pictures! It was a beautifully sunny day for pictures! And Elon could not have looked more dapper in his overalls. His pleasantly plump cheeks are one of my favorite things about his perfect little face. Kara wanted to keep in simple with just some greenery and balloons. And she so wonderfully created his “one” banner! Simple is often-times so much more. So the little simple touches made this first birthday session so much better than I could have imagined.

And it won’t be long until I see them again! Kara and Addison have invited me to photograph their intimate wedding in May. So you can only imagine how unbelievably excited I am to be there on the most beautiful day, ever for this amazing couple! Kara and Addison, I am so thankful for you and your friendship!
