College roommates are uniquely special. You learn a lot about a person when you live with them. Especially in college. High-stress times and extreme lows. But also, the highest of highs and some of the best times of your life. The best part about roommates is that you experience all of those times together. You cry together. And you laugh together. But most importantly, you encourage and lift each other up. It’s a unique bond that college roommates have, really. A bond that will last a lifetime.
I mean, we got the pictures that we needed. But I could have spent a few more hours with them because they were so down-to-earth and energetic. Conversation was easy. And as this chapter of their life was coming to a close, it was evident that many more were beginning for this sweet group of ladies. I couldn’t help but smile as I listened to them talk about their future plans and how crazy this year has been with the pandemic. Again, this year has not been a normal one for students everywhere. But it was clear that these ladies made the most of it.
They all came dressed like models! Old Main was booming with seniors everywhere. But we found the perfect spots and got the perfect shots. Taking their individual pictures was so enjoyable. Each in their own element of comfort, they totally rocked it! But my favorite part was taking the group pictures of them! They bounced their energy off each other, and the laughter was contagious. As always, my favorite moment was during the champagne pop. The look on their faces was priceless, but I loved at the end how they all yelled, “cheers!” Cheers to you, ladies!
I wish you all nothing but happiness and success! Congratulations to you on graduating from Penn State University! You have earned every ounce of excitement you feel, and I hope you live on the high of your accomplishments for a lifetime! As always, forever…We are!
