This family is going places. Both figuratively because they’re amazing, and literally because they’re moving. They emulate grace. And they encompass strength. When you add Adras in to their family, it is a beautiful display of God’s love. Hannah is a doctor; an OB/GYN to be exact. So, their family has to relocate in order to further her education. There is zero doubt in my mind that she is going to change lives wherever she lives and works. And I’m thankful that she lived so close to me.

Adras has the best hair.

Hannah mentioned to me that the way his hair is growing, makes it stick straight up in the back. I understand that crazy adorable look because our daughters Lucy’s hair grows the same way. It is so endearing! Adras holds a sweet spot in my heart because he is the same age as our daughter. At ten months, they are so full of curiosity. The way they study simple things and look at the world around us is such a humbling thing to be in the presence of. He loved being held by his daddy, but it was obvious how much he loves his mommy.

Watching Hannah and Adras together was so tender. Their bond and ability to understand each other was filled with love and light. Hannah is so proud to be breastfeeding. And she should be. It isn’t something that comes easy for everyone. It is a gift. And one of the greatest gifts you can give your baby. Watching the quiet moments they spent together snuggling was so raw. It was obvious that they snuggle and love each other fiercely at home. But seeing them complete as a family, was a heart-warming gift for me. I adored Hannah and Steven’s maternity session because it was so light and refreshing. But now seeing them with their sweet boy makes the story come full circle.

Hannah, I am so thankful for you! I wish your family nothing but the best of luck on your next adventure. I am so sure that you are going to change lives and thrive as a doctor, and I hope to see you back here soon!
