We pick up where we left off. The laughter comes so easy. Only now we’re laughing about our kids and not something ridiculous we did in college. It’s funny how the time changes. And it’s funny how when we all get together, it doesn’t seem like much has changed at all. This family brings the entertainment every single time. And everything is funny and energized. But now Uriah is a part of this beautiful family, and they just seem that much more perfect.

It’s unpredictable.

Any, and every session with kids is always unpredictable. It never fails. But this family takes the energy to a whole new level. And I mean that in the best way possible. I’m not kidding when I say there is so much laughter. I watched Peyton and Lennox chase each other around for a while, and the whole time all I heard were little giggles. It was impossible not to laugh both hearing and watching them. They were in their own little world and living their best life. It was such a sweet reminder to stop and enjoy every second.

And the love for Uriah is blatantly obvious. They both wanted to snuggle him. And they both wanted to be the one to hold him for pictures. Uriah has the sweetest little smile, and all he wanted was to be snuggled by mom and dad. They were his happy place. When the whole family is together, it’s a beautiful blend of chaos and entertainment. Kyle and Courtney watched the kiddos run around and just kept saying, “this is our life.” It is indeed, and it is one of the most beautiful ones filled with love that I’ve seen.
